The Yellowjackets competed with the big boys last season and have only gotten better in 2013. Led by 2012 National High School Coaches Association Boys Cross Country Coach of the Year Jeff Morris they may be the best overall in Minnesota in 2013.
The program is building and the athletes are buying into the philosophy that the size of your school does not limit the size of your dreams...they may just make the big dance this season.
For Jeff and Kay Morris, the 2012-13 Minnesota State Cross Country Head and Assistant Coaches of the Year, awards are recognition for the success their teams have had during the season. Jeff was also named the National Head Coach of the Year in the same week.
