National Championship Team History

Listed are the recognized National Championship Teams as well as Coaches of the Year. Each year XCNATION awards the top Division I (+501 Enrollment) and Division II (-500 Enrollment) teams as constituted in the final rankings polls with official National Championship recognition. Championship teams forever leave their mark and will be permanently archived in the annals of XC history.

2012-13 Arcadia, Arcadia, CA

The first team in the NXN-era to win two National Championships. Won CIF State Championships with 15:24 5k team average (Woodward Park #2 all-time), Won CIF Southern Section Championships with 14:24 3mi team average (#2 all-time).

2011-12 Christian Brothers Acad, Lincroft, NJ

CBA's Cross Country Team is one of the best in the nation. Ran 15:26.20 5k team average to win Shore County Championships. CBA has won 13 northeast titles, 17 all group New Jersey titles, 23 state titles, 28 Shore Conference Championships, 42 Monmouth County titles, as well as many invitationals in many states around the country. CBA has a dual meet record of 448 wins and 27 losses, including a national record of winning 315 straight meets since 1973.

We consider the 2010 Arcadia cross country team as the best cross country team in US history. Stanford Invitational meet record 15:16 5k team average. Clovis Invitational meet record 15:25 5k team average. Mt. Sac Invitational meet record 75:16 total team time. Arcadia Invitational meet record 72:23 total team time averaging 14:28.6 per runner. California State Championships meet record 15:14.20 5k team average.

The 7-time defending NXN Champions have been the penultimate program for girls prep cross country teams. In one of the historic championship victories they dominate NXN by over 144-points.

Defeating fellow New York juggernaut Saratoga Springs 60-84, it should be noted F-M had perfect scored Saratoga Springs at the NYS Championships. Team Members: Jillian Fanning, Katie Sischo, Katie Brislin, Alana Pearl, Hanna Smith, Jenna Farrell, Annika Avery.

Coming off one of the historic seasons, Manlius ran the US#2 all-time 17:44.60 5k team average @ CNYCL Championships, Manlius ran the US#4 all-time 17:51.90 5k team average @ Chittenango Invitational, then at Nike Cross Nationals they scored a meet record low 27-teams points!!! Placing all 5 scorers in the top 12 for team scoring. Manlius defeated US#2 Saratoga Springs, NY by 80-points, earlier in the season Manlius had perfect scored US#2 Saratoga at the NYS Championships.

2009-10 Fayetteville Manlius, Manlius, NY
