Head Coach Patrick Castagno: The defending DII National Champions again dominated in 2012. The biggest win came over US#1 Fayetteville Manlius HS, NY to claim the Eastern States Championship handing Manlius their first loss in 7-years. Head Coach Jeff Morris (NHSCA Boys National Coach of the Year); The top Division II team in the nation dodged none of the juggernaut programs and nearly qualified for NXN Nationals after finishing less than 10-points out of third @ NXN Heartland. The Minnesota A State Champions ran the fastest team average (16:16) in almost two decades with a 37-point score. Head Coach Dan Sauser; The Panthers were the top team in the nation for most of the season. The DII juggernaut from Iowa competed uncontested within the state of Iowa winning the 2A State Championship with a 16:14 team average and 53-second spread placing all 5 varsity scorers in the top 20! to gap second by 81-points. The Super 25 comprises the top 25 Division II programs in the nation. All-American program status and commemorative award will be sent to teams in final rankings. Division II (less than 500 total enrollment) teams will be awarded National Championship and All-American status at the end of the season. All team scores are a computer power ranking of a teams strength.
All-American Program Certificates will be mailed to all teams ranked in the top 25 on 1 March, 2013.
