NHSCA OVERALL BOYS NATIONAL TEAM POWER RANKINGS

There is a new US#1! Arcadia HS, Arcadia CA has reclaimed their #1 spot from last season NXN Championships. Running an astonishing 14:33 team average the Apaches won the Woodbridge Invitational by 93-points. Estevan De La Rosa ran an incredible 13:56 for 3-miles, Phillip Rocha 14:32, Thomas Tran 14:43, Jarrick Wenslow 14:45, Josue Gonzalez 14:50.

NHSCA OVERALL GIRLS NATIONAL TEAM POWER RANKINGS

They may be the best dynasty in prep sports today. The queens of high school cross country have claimed a record 7-straight Nike Cross Nationals Championships. A "pure" cross country driven program Manlius is grounded by the Stotan Philosophy. Every season there is questions whether they will be able to regroup, reload, and repeat...the Stotans have never flinched. Will 2013 be 8-in-row or will 2013 provide a Cinderella?

NHSCA DIVISION II BOYS NATIONAL TEAM RANKINGS

There is a new US#1. Like the Tatnall girls before them, the 2013 Tatnall boys squad are poised to make a run at Nike Cross Nationals and a NHSCA DII National Team Championship. Head Coach Patrick Castagno has one of his best boys teams yet, returning 5 of the top 8 runners overall for the DIAA State Championships and a few sub 9:20 3200 meter runners it will be hard to stop the Hornets. Rankings to be released September 15th, 2013.

NHSCA DIVISION II GIRLS NATIONAL TEAM RANKINGS

On paper they look better than US#1 Fayetteville Manlius HS, NY but can they perform? Holy Names can be the best team in New York...perhaps even America! Destined to battle F-M the entire season this team is reminicent of the Saratoga Springs teams of past seasons who have finished runner-up at Nike Cross Nationals. Its safe to say, the road to the National Team Championship runs through the Empire State of New York. Rankings to be released September 16th, 2013.

The National High School Coaches Association Power Rankings are a team strength computer rating that take into account previous season returners, track performances, cross country performance metrics and current season results. They are used to recognize and award national championship recognition by the NHSCA for Division I and Division II high school cross country programs.
